About Nijlane

NIJLANE is a business which was founded by myself, Mandeep Lane. "NIJ" - taken from my maiden name, "NIJJAR" and "LANE" - taken from my husbands name. Together we become "NIJLANE". "G" is my baby brother, George and "J" is my loving niece Jasmine. Together they become the company logo "GJ".

This natural flair for design and creativity was passed down from my Nan, (from my mothers side), who made clothes, by hand, for her six children during the dark nights in India using a small ‘DIVA’ for light. This amazing talent was passed on to my mother who is also born with an eye for design and then inherited by myself and my baby brother, who is one of my biggest inspirations.
