I write this letter with great thanks and appreciation for the wonderful job you did in creating my wedding dress.

First, I want to convey how nice it was to work with you, Mandeep. You were always pleasant and patient to deal with, considering all the fittings and detail work that needed to be done for my dress and the bridesmaid dresses.

I was also very impressed with the process you used to interpret the dress design. It seemed as though I would explain what I wanted and you would quickly understand and then add more ideas to it! I also think you went beyond what I had ever imagined in resolving exactly what the dress would look like. You drew up 3 different versions of the design and then created a tiny three-dimensional miniature of the dress on a small mannequin! I knew exactly what I would be getting.

Finally, I think you have a great imagination and an ability to interpret design. If you put this together with your ability to select fabrics and trims and your ability to sew and construct the garment, you come away with something called talent. You are a talented designer and dressmaker.

What Jamie said after Placing the order for her bridal dress: "My wedding gown is being custom-made with Nijlane. I talked to Mandeep Lane about what kind of style, fabric, color, and detail that I wanted to have in the gown. She offered great advice and many options before we finally came up with a sketch of a beautiful gown. I’ve recently gone into the shop for my first fitting and she helped me work out some fine details while I had the material on in front of her mirror. It was such a wonderful experience to see the work in progress, and to be able to be so involved with the final outcome. I am confident I will be completely satisfied with my wedding gown."

What she said after the wedding: "My wedding day was a wonderful event. I felt beautiful and comfortable in my dress all day. It was really nice to hear all the compliments on my gown and veil. People would ask where I bought it and talk about the detail - the idea was that the gold tulle incorporated in the dress would compliment the color scheme for my wedding - and it matched wonderfully with my bridesmaids’ gold gowns. The train was not only beautiful but detachable, which was great because it involved no bustling and did not take away from the gown itself. I really enjoyed the fact that I could think about how I helped to design this dress according to my liking, rather than searching endlessly for a dress in a store or catalogue that I could picture myself in. Time and care were taken in each step of the gown. It was clear that Mandeep took great pride in the fact that even the smallest detail gets huge attention. She works with such enthusiasm and professionalism and she puts herself in the shoes of the customer every step of the way. I know I am the type of person who does not like to settle for less, especially for such an important event as a wedding and the gown I’d be wearing on the day, as well as the gown I would be seeing in my wedding pictures for years to come, and it was so great to know that Mandeep was directly on the same wavelength.
